Hi there QrizB, yes it has affected many others, if you google"Scottish Power fit reading problems", there are many comments on Scottish Power forums stating exactly the same, and also that the normal link for entering readings is no longer working, .... S.P. are not the easiest of providers to deal with,

Nobody from Scottish Power will help and keep referring me to a help telephone number which constantly says"Try Later" I have made a number of complaints but all I get back is"someone will contact you" nobody does- I imagine there are lots of Scottish Power FIT customers waiting for payment

The second quarter running where I have had to submit a photograph to support my readings. Scottish Power say it's because the reads were higher than expected by Ofgen. This all delays payment but now S.P are in breach of their terms and conditions as payment should have been by the end of the month following submission.

Since that time I have sent my meter readings every 90 days to Scottish Power and have received payment directly into my bank account. I recently switched banks and though almost everything went smoothly, the process involved in getting Scottish Power to recognise the new bank was ridiculously complicated, involving form filling, providing statements form my new bank etc.

Second, I was under the impression the smart meters would be sending readings to Scottish Power, which would register on my account. Looking at my account, the last readings were received on 18th February. I contacted Scottish Power, and they said my meters were set up to transmit readings every 30 minutes.
